The Centurion Lounge from American Express has been my favorite airport lounge for years before but my only complaint has been the limited locations. Centurion Lounges in the US used to be limited to a few locations including Dallas, Miami, New York LaGuardia, Las Vegas, and a few others. Thankfully that seems to be a thing of the past with American Express expanding the Centurion Lounge footprint across the US substantially in 2020. There are a handful of locations planned to come online this year in the US including Charlotte, Denver, Los Angeles, and New York JFK
Today, I was flying through Charlotte and to my surprise, the Centurion Lounge was opened. I was walking towards the Admirals Club from American Airlines as that was the only option available but when I noticed the Centurion Lounge open I had to stop by. It is conveniently located between concourse D & E, so if one of your connecting flights is American Eagle you’ll have to walk through it to get to Concourse E.
Typical lounges offer free snacks, internet, a space to chill and relax while waiting for your next flight; sometimes you may score a free drink or cocktail. The Centurion Lounge, on the other hand, takes that to the next level by offering free food and drinks (wine and cocktails). In addition to that they have SPAs in many locations (not available in Charlotte) as well so you can get a massage before your flight; showers are also available at most locations.

If you are in Charlotte, I definitely recommend checking out.
