My name is Yoel Nunez and I am the host and creator of Digital Phantom, thus the name Phantom Talks. I am a “hacker” because I like to “hack” things; I like to break things apart and see how they work, put them back together, and even make new things. Ever since I was a little kid, I used to take apart my toys learned how they worked, unfortunately for little me I did not always know how to put them back together 🙂
I’ve been programming for the past 13 years of my life and I love doing it. I love seeing how lines of code can transform into a useful and sometimes beautiful application that simplifies complex tasks and even the streamlining of simple/common/repetitive tasks.
Over the course of the past 9 years of working in the IT/Technology industry I’ve been able to work for multinational corporations as well as small businesses which has allowed me to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field. I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I’ve acquired over the years and I firmly believe that teaching is the best way to validate your knowledge and expertise.
In addition to my professional experience, I also deeply invested in learning about new things that are helpful to me, my family, and my community. Finances and investments are one of the areas which I have been spending time learning and it’s fascinating. Due to the nature of my current job, traveling is a weekly reality, so I’ve gained a great deal of experience in that area as well.
The purpose of Phantom Talks is for me to share with all of you my thoughts, experiences, and knowledge in all aspects of life.
